Staying active and involved at Hunt Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is an important part of resident health and well-being. Our activities programming is as unique as our residents, reflecting their interests and abilities, and promoting mental, physical and spiritual wellness. Our resident council represents resident interests and makes recommendations regarding activities and other community events.
Our schedule of activities includes:
- Fun & Fitness exercise classes
- Trivia and brain games
- Card games and Bingo
- Discussion groups
- Crafts
- Music and sing-alongs
- Movies
- Religious services
- Live entertainment
- Tuesday Koffee Klatch with coffee and donuts
- Friday Family Breakfast
- Outings to local restaurants, shopping, and scenic drives
Our residents enjoy outings for lunch or shopping, and every other Friday a group of residents goes to the Danvers Senior Center for Bingo.
On our secured unit, we follow a flexible schedule to accommodate personal preferences and routines. In addition to small and large group activities, we provide one-on-one room visits for those who benefit most from soothing, relaxing experiences.
Part of the Community
Community members are always welcome for special events, and volunteers help organize activities such as Bingo by Phone where the homebound can join our weekly Bingo games remotely, even competing for prizes.
